One balance, with the details intact.

The Usage page keeps each category visible. Only the limit is unified.

Model usage

Input and output tokens are converted using the rate for the model that ran.

Isolated runtime

Credits reflect the compute and memory used while an agent works in isolation.

Web search

Each search uses credits based on the current search-provider cost.

Turns and attribution

Turns explain where activity came from without charging for the same work twice.

Pricing questions

When do usage credits reset?

Usage credits reset at the start of each UTC calendar month. Unused credits do not roll over.

What happens at the limit?

Aleph warns you at 80% and stops new agent runs at 100%. There are no surprise overage charges.

How does organization billing work?

Personal agents use your personal balance. Organization and team agents use the organization balance; teams remain attribution, not separate billing accounts.

How do I change plans?

You can upgrade from Billing. Plan changes apply to the billing account selected there.

Why can two runs use different numbers of credits?

Different models and workloads have different underlying costs. Aleph converts them into one balance so the limit stays predictable while the Usage page keeps the category detail.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. The monthly limit is intentionally hard, and unused credits expire when the next period begins.
